Enjoy the historic grounds of Riverside Cemetery as you follow a preset map that will take you to the grave spaces of more than one hundred people of special interest. The foldout map contains biographical information for each person's grave you will visit. Self-guided walking tours will be available at our office or you can contact us to receive one by mail.

Civil War Roster

Although no actual Civil War victims are buried at Riverside Cemetery, many who served on both sides of the war and were later laid to rest at the cemetery. Their intriguing stories are compiled in the well-researched, soft-cover volume by author William Brett Messer. Each entry includes personal information about the individual, military rank and service, family history, and post-war accomplishments. This fascinating book is a must for your private Civil War library.
